Shades of the Decade

Just looking back at all the cool sunnies over the years.

Recently returned from a trip to San Francisco and this was definitely inspired by it. I'm looking forward to redesigning more book covers and keeping the sleepy 8-5 Megan away from personal work. I've got a lot on my to do list and I am looking forward to a big change in my life within the next year. I might even be heading back to San Francisco for good someday. Hope everyone is happy and healthy.

These are some of my favorite shoes from recent seasons. Shoes are probably some of my favorite things to draw[especially designer shoes because they tend to have great organic shape].

The Coming Re-vamp//

In the very near future my blog will be taking on a whole new look and purpose. I am finally giving my two loves --illustration/art and fashion-- a place to live together. I have always done fashion illustrations, but I now want to commit to making it my every non 9-5 working moment.

Also, Matt got me a large format Moleskin watercolor sketchbook for Christmas which has inspired quite the quirky fashion doodlings.

work, work, work///

A few more things from work. It's been pretty fun, as fun as "work" can be. I've been able to do a wide variety of illustrations and it keeps things interesting. Up next, it's pirate pick-up lines. (These are all for t-shirts, in case I've never mentioned). Hope everyone is splendid.
