Inspired in Austin

I just moved to Austin and the town is a rusty jewel, i love it. I am looking for freelance and drawing whenever I can. I have been throwing a lot of "rules" out the window and drawing how and what I like. The top image is a preview of a piece I have almost completed.

Senior Thesis

I chose to do a series of book covers for slightly autobiographical novels for my thesis. I also did portraits of all the authors. Typewriter courtesy of Goodwill. It's all over. What will I do now? That will be the next update..

I hope you are still interested. I did not really abandon you. Below is some new stuff. The final decision on the Bell Jar which I did about four times. My quirky self portrait is below which, along with my Franny and Zooey , made it into the Secret Society of Illustrators.

Also, a little Brandes pen and ink assignment. Man, Pet, & Machine or in my case: little girl, giant panda, and chopsticks.

Hi. The first is a study for a painting of Blonde Redhead which is currently hanging in a student exhibition. The others are sketchbook ramblings, a depressing football story, and food illustrations (too fun).
